Who we are
The Hirezo platform is operated by Harkem van Staden. "Hirezo" is a trading name. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Hirezo.
What we collect
When you make an account, we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number. Clients posting a job also submit a description and, optionally, photos of the job site. Installers additionally provide a business name, a short bio, the trades and towns they cover, and — when submitting a quote — an amount, a message, and optionally a PDF quote document. Passwords are stored as salted hashes; we never store your plain-text password.
How we use it
Your information is used to run the marketplace: matching job requests to installers who cover that trade and town, letting installers submit quotes, and letting clients compare and choose one. A client's contact details are shared with the installer they select, and that installer's contact details are shared with the client — only once a selection is made, not before. We also use installer and job data internally to calculate commissions owed.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information to third parties, and we don't use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site. The only cookie this site sets is a session cookie needed to keep you logged in.
Where it's stored
Data is stored on our hosting provider's cloud infrastructure, protected in transit with HTTPS. Job and quote photos/documents are stored the same way and are only viewable by signed-in users of the platform.
Email notifications
We send notification emails through a third-party email delivery provider, Resend, which processes recipients' email addresses and the contents of those emails on our behalf.
Your rights
You can review and update most of your own information from your account (installers can edit their profile at any time). To request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account, email harkem@ecorenergy.co.za — we handle these requests in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
